Fulfillment Hell, New Artist Heaven
Now that issue three is finally completed and back from the printer, time to ship the books to my lucky* backers! That big box of packages in the photo? That’s the majority of my out-of-state backers. Those were shipped out on Monday. There were three local backers who requested I send them their packages too, the rest either wanted them delivered or never responded to my email.
Even using Backerkit, I still found myself getting things mixed up, messed up, and just plain missed as I assembled those packages, so hopefully everyone got everything they ordered**.
Introducing Tiah Ankum!
Sometime back in March Greg hit me with some bad news. He wanted to leave the book. Fortunately, because he got to meet all those awesome creators at the Milestone Initiative, he was able to help me find our new penciller, Tiah Ankum!
Tiah will be showing us her talent in the pages of issue #4, but as we wait for her talented hands to draw that issue, here is her character study of a familiar face:
I’m looking forward to seeing this next, penultimate issue drawn by Tiah. And you got to see her stuff first, because YOU subscribed to my all-too infrequent newsletter!
The Next Kickstarter
I’ve asked Tiah to draw issue #4 BEFORE we launch the next Kickstarter. Hopefully I’ll be able to launch in October or November of this year. My goal is 500 donors. So spread the word and get excited for this next chapter in The Shaolin Nun saga!
